Enrollment Policy

Children must be two years and nine months to six years old to be placed in our pre-school program for which we are licensed by Department of Early Education and Care. Younger children may have their name placed on our waiting list and enroll during the school year when an opening becomes available. The Carousel School helps new children feel comfortable by scheduling a visit before enrolling. This includes meeting our staff, touring our facility, and having an orientation on their first day of the school year. Prior to enrollment, according to DEEC licensing and NAEYC re-accreditation, each child’s folder must include the following information: an application with a recent photograph, contract, emergency card, yearly medical form, Face Sheet, and a volunteer form. When a child transfers from another preschool program, evaluations from your child's previous school year are necessary to complete your child's folder. Each child is accepted on a trial basis.
