All staff members are active in our state and local professional early childhood education associations. The Director is a member and keeps up to date on activities in the National and Boston Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC and BAEYC); National Association of Child Care Professionals; National Child Care Association (NCCA); Massachusetts Independent Child Care Organization (MICCO); the Waltham Community Partnership; Early Childhood Educators of Norfolk County and ECE Tri-Community Waltham Watertown Belmont. All staff participates in a continuous program of in-service education and workshops for professional development and has received a Cori from DEEC.

Parents and staff can communicate by personal conversations upon arrival or departure (if of a confidential nature, please request a private meeting place/time), written notes, newsletter, conferences, or phone calls. The Parents' Paper and Scholastic Magazine are distributed.
